Rashmi Naik

    Rashmi leads the outreach efforts and partnerships at IndiaSpend. Prior to this, as director of marketing and communications, she managed media relations, internal communications, brand development, and strategic marketing programs for Omidyar Network India Advisors, a silicon valley based impact investment firm. She has more than 15 years of experience in reputation management, brand strategy, corporate communications, and public affairs. She has served as general manager in the external affairs department at BP where she handled the press office, as well as corporate and brand communications. Previously, she led the public policy efforts at MasterCard Worldwide and managed the public relations and corporate affairs mandates at the Tata Group. She holds a post-graduate degree in mass communications and journalism from St. Xavier’s College in Mumbai. She has bachelor’s degrees in English literature and political science from the University of Mumbai.
