Gopal Shetty, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from Mumbai (North), Maharashtra, feels there is a need for a national policy on education to tackle the issue of high fees in schools. He also says that the responsibility of voters do not end with voting once in five years; they have to ensure that their elected representatives do their jobs effectively.
