Instances of cyclones have risen by 32% in the last 5 years while there was an overall rise of 11% over the last decade, reported the meteorological department of India.
There have been at least 6 severe cyclone hits in India every year, for the last two years. These cyclones cause alter the weather causing extreme conditions like droughts, heavy rainfalls, severe heat and unbearable cold.
