10 Jan 2010, India — India’s largest nuclear power plant will be ready this year. India, in collaboration with Russia, is building two 1,000-Megawatt atmoic reactors on the coast of the Bay of Bengal. These enriched uranium-powered light water reactors are part of India’s efforts to combat climate change by generating carbon free energy.
