Even as India struggles to achieve sustainable development goals (SDGs) — a set of universal goals to end poverty, hunger and achieve equality– policymakers are not really aware of the key indicators of gender equality, a new study has found.

Very interesting study noting the policy- makers ignorance on the aims and objectives of SDGs. The government must appoint persons of repute and conversant with the goals declared by UN. Only then, programs and policies concerning hunger, equality, etc would be effectively and efficiently implemented
