Kamla Prasad, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) candidate from Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, says over 500 villages in the area have been electrified due to their efforts. Poor families have also been provided houses under various schemes. The focus areas would be addressing issues like lack of electricity and access to proper roads in the area.


This initiative is part of Mera Neta, India’s largest candidate outreach programme, which has exclusive updates of the candidates contesting the Lok Sabha elections 2014 covering 542 constituencies and talking to 1000+ candidates across India. Watch the rest of the videos here.
